Hello families hope your week is going smooth with Halloween around the corner. This week we've been playing some new games we just got. Outside the seastars have been playing catch with the new velcro glove and tennis ball. Inside we've been playing a sound bingo game. They listen to the "outdoor sounds" and they have to mark them off with a square they love it! There is also a "feelings and expressions" bingo too but they seem to the outdoors a little better. They have been working hard and I'm so proud of them. I'm excited for Friday I hope to see you there so you can see the fun.

This Thursday for share day I would love the kids to pick out their favorite spooky story for us to read if you don't have a spooky story then bring in a spooky toy. This should be fun =D

Hello Jellyfish families! It's Friday!! This week has been fun. We've decorated triangles, tasted and painted with oranges, played with orange play dough, and did a group collage with the letter Ff. We also experienced a sweet potato, butternut squash, carrot and pumpkin. The carrots were a hit...to feed to the bunnies. haha. Some more fun activities that we did are making castles outside on our yard, swinging / chasing the red ring on our flag pole, free art coloring with crayons, and baking "orange" cookies. mmm mmmmm mmm good.
Next week is SPOOKY week. yaaaaay! So look out ghosts, pumpkins, witches, and spiders...haha. I hope you all had a fantastic day and I will see you all on Monday! Take care,

Seastars
Hello parents. This week has been fun and busy. Monday we discussed imagination and finished working on our masks.
Tuesday was an awesome pre halloween day. Started off with a little circle time and then the real fun began. The seastars decorated the classroom with spider webs and spiders while listening to a spooky CD. When we went outside the kids made their own mini english muffin pizzas. I'm sorry I didn't start taking pictures there was just so much going on but it was so cute. They're so different yet alike. Some like easy sauce, extra cheese ,which they kept eating, or no sauce like seth. Either way they loved it. They bobbed for apples it was funny to watch them and when they'd use their hands I reminded them they weren't suppose to. :) After everyone was done with their lunch we ate cupcakes. It was a yummy end to our delightful day!!
Wednesday we talked about triangles and how they have 3 sides. We practiced making them 3 different ways: a ruler and a marker, paint and their finger, or with the dobber markers.
For Friday share day please have the seastars bring in something to do with the Halloween theme, books, stuffed animal, toy, etc. Well enjoy the rest of the week and I'l see you in the morning.

Tuesday!
Well Everyone It's Tuesday again. This week the Seahorses are talking about Bats, spiders and the shape of the month the Triangle. To day we talked about spiders, made spider webs, and we Recited the little Miss Muffet poem. After we all learned the poem i had the kids take turns being the spider and little miss muffet. They all really enjoyed this. After group time I gave them the option to go dress up and play the parts together. This was also a big hit.

They were cracking up going down the slide like a train =p
Tomorrow we will be making spider cookies an discussing how many legs a spider has which is a good thing because after the discussion today i found that most of the kids believe that spiders have five legs. We shall be counting Fake spider legs tomorrow.=p
Thursday is share day so please Bring in a share toy that Starts with an S. =D Friday we will be talking about triangles and be going on a hunt in the classroom, on Thursday and again on Friday, looking for things that are in the shape of a triangle so we can paint with them.
Now on to pictures. I know it's been a long time and I'm so sorry but school got a little crazy so i have a lot to make up =D i hope your ready!! Goodnight!
