Hi Jellyfish families! This week we are doing everything Orange. On Monday we started group by using our sense of sight, touch, smell, and taste with oranges. Boy did they LOVE the tasting part. haha. We then squeezed the juice into a bowl and put it in the freezer. Today we pulled out the frozen juice and watched as it melted. After snack we discussed how it changed form as it melted, if it got bigger or smaller, if it got darker or lighter or stayed the same. It was a big hit. We also did a "class" collage of big letter F's glued to a little f. Another art activity that the children did was painting with orange halves. It was interesting to see all the lines from the pulp. =0)
Tomorrow we will be name tracing and decorating orange triangles. yaaaay! I hope you all had a fantastic day and I will see you in the morning! Take care...
