Hello parents. This week has been fun learning about pumpkins. On Monday we did pumpkin tasting. Almost all the kids liked the pumpkin pie with whipped cream. We got to see what's inside the pumpkins and take it all out to investigate. The kids took every seed out and put aside for a project called "pumpkin parts" that we will do tomorrow. We also practiced writing our upper and lower case letters A thru D today. Outside this week was warm so the seastars have been running through the hose or wetting their hair to cool off. We also got to do some face painting but I need some practice. :) This week has been filled with lots of fun and with more to come. I'm looking forward to the pumpkin patch on Friday and I'll see you in the morning. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

The face painting was awesome, but Sydni said her friends Jackson and Christopher were also Darth Maul, but nobody took a picture. It would be great to see a picture of things such as that...It's her last year at Coastal and I would love to get as many pictures of her at school with her friends if possible. Thanks! SHERI
