all about winter wonderland...

Hello Jellyfish Families! Winter Wonderland...That's what we are all about this month. So far we have made twinkle, twinkle stars, snowballs out of glue, pine trees, snowmen and musical notes. They made Giving Tree's that went home as a family activity and will be making a soup to donate to a local homeless shelter. The children have also played with snow (shaving cream), rolled like snowballs, and learned new songs such as the winter pokey. It's been a great start to our Winter Wonderland and the weather is starting to fit our theme, too. haha.

We have been talking a lot about "giving" and "kindness" and what the meaning of those words are. Some homework for you parents is to continue this lesson at home and to come up with some ideas of how to show kindness to others. They have been working hard on it here at school. I hope you all enjoyed the Giving Tree and coming together as a family to complete the activity!

I hope you all had a fantastic day and I will see you all in the morning! Take care...
Miss Kat
