Hello everyone, here are some pictures of last week when the children's had some dinosaur food. (green veggies and green ranch to make it green just put green food coloring) The children's really love it. This week we are talking about Chinese New Year, red and yellow is the color we are talking about. We are having a Chinese p0t lock don't forget to sing up.

Happy monday

Hello everyone i know I'm long over due for a post I'm so sorry to keep you waiting. I have a few new pictures up on my photo bucket so go have a look =D.
Last week we talked all about Dinosaurs and even had a special demonstration of a volcano. I wish i had my camera handy because the kids loved it.
This week we are talking about the Chinese new year. Today we talked about how This new year is celebrated in china and the different things they do to celebrate it. The kids also learned that this is the year of the ox and we talked just a little about an Ox. Thursday we will be talking more about the OX. tomorrow we will be working on Chinese Numbers 1-10.
Before i forget this weeks share theme is anything RED or YELLOW.

MONDAY MEMO!

Happy Monday Morning to all!

GUNG HEI FAT CHOY!
means HAPPY NEW YEAR! Chinnese New Year is the longest and most important of the traditional Chinese Holidays. The celebration lasts for 15 days and traditionally ends with a Lantern Festival. This week the children are preparing for a mini celebration on FRIDAY, January 30. Each class has a sign up sheet for a Pot Luck lunch. Don't Foreget to sign up!Important Reminder: NO PEANUT INGREDIENT, Please!

SEASTARS only!
Parent-Teacher conferences starting TUESDAY, Jan.27 - Thursday, Jan.28. First appointment is at 5:45pm and last appointment is at 7:05pm. PARENTS ONLY!!!
For all other classes, progress reports will be out the first week of FEBRUARY.

DANCE CLASS!
To keep the same Teacher (MS.MICHELLE), dance class is now on THURSDAYS instead of TUESDAYS @ 11am.

HEALTH POLICY!
It's that time again that kids are getting sick. To help prevent it from going around, please go over the HEALTH POLICY that is posted on the bulletin board. In it are the GUIDELINES of when a CHILD is EXCLUDED from school. If you would like a copy, I will be happy to give you one. You will also find this policy in the PARENT HANDBOOK that was handed to you on the first week of your child's attendance.

Welcome, CHARLOTTE WILLIAMS! Charlotte is a new addition to the JELLYFISH Class.

the birthday boy's!!!!

It was so much fun to celebrate Stephen and Isaiah's Birthdays. Thank you to the Ram and Nason families for the cupcakes, cake, and gift bags. The children enjoyed them immensely.

Ok, this week will be super fun. We will be celebrating Chinese New Year all week. Dragons, the year of the Ox, firecrackers, and treats. Just a reminder...the sign up sheet for the pot luck on Friday is on the cover of the sign in/sign out book.
