Spring time!!

Hello Seahorse families It's been a long time again. And Again i apologize but this week I'm on spring break so I'm going to work on getting more pictures up. Have a look at my Photo bucket site to see the update =)

Today The seahorses welcomed Tyler, a new friend, to the class. Everyone got along great! =)

Last week we Talked about different crops we saw at the farm. The kids as a class really wanted to plant a strawberry plant. So we made a list of things we would need and on Friday we planted our strawberry plant.

This week we are working on nutrition. We have been talking about the Food pyramid and healthy choices =D. The kids are really doing a great job identifying different grains, fruits, vegetables, and Dairy items.
This weeks share theme is Anything GREEN. have a great night and enjoy the pictures.

let's talk nutrition!!

Hello Jellyfish Families! This week is super healthy and super fun! We are learning what it means to be healthy and how to eat nutritiously. So far we have made apples with our hand prints, printed with apples, learned a fun story called "Brown Bun, Brown Bun, what do you see?", and played different games for exercise. Today they played soccer or basketball or ran in a race. wheeeeeweee...we were pooped. haha. But it was a lot of fun. Oh! Wait! Owen and I played football! There's another way to get some good exercise. haha. Some more fun we'll be having this week is learning a new song that teaches us how to wash our hands, making tissue Tina and tissue ted, coloring and painting different fruits and veggies, and much more EXERCISE! =0) I hope you have all had a great start to your week!! I will see you all in the morning.

MONDAY MEMO

Happy Monday, everyone! Hope that everyone had an awesome weekend. It's time to say Goodbye to March and say hello to April. Where did the time go??? This wednesday is April first...watch out for April fools! LOL!!!

SPRING CELEBRATION is on WEDNESDAY, April 8. The celebration will consist of the ff: an egg hunt, egg coloring contest, an egg relay race and a mini-potluck for lunch. FUN! FUN! FUN! There will be a sign up sheet posted for each of the classes.

SPRING BREAK - We will be CLOSED on THURSDAY & FRIDAY, APRIL 9 & 10 for our mini Spring Break! We will see you back on Monday, April 13. Please make sure that you take your child's Nap stuff home to be washed!

OPEN HOUSE is on WEDNESDAY, April 15 from 6:30 - 7:30. We will CLOSE at 5:30PM to prepare for this event. Family and Friends are WELCOME!

Hi seastar families sorry it's been a while.. Well this week has gone by fast!! Tomorrow's share day theme is for the kids to bring in their favorite sweater, jacket or sweatshirt to wear when it's cold or windy. This week the kids have been making kites and started their wind chimes. In phonics we have been working on the letter R. The kids have been doing such a great job and I'm very proud of them.

SPRING PORTRAITS is on THURSDSAY & FRIDAY, MARCH 26 & 27
Seastars & Seahorse will have their portrait taken on Thursday
Goldfish & Jellyfish will have their portrait taken on Friday both at 8:30am.
Please make sure that you have a "change of clothes" after pictures are taken.

To all our PARENT / GURDIAN VOLUNTEERS...Thank you very much for joining us at the Field Trip. The children had a wonderful time. See you Moms at the next field trip in May for MOTHER"S DAY!

One of our Themes for the month of APRIL is PLANTING...If there is anyone out there that could build is a plantbox, we would greatly appreciate it. We would like to plant some Vegetables and Flowers for the spring. Please let me know. Thank You.
