Hi everyone! Happy Monday to all! This week will be short but a fun one!

I want to thank all our Families & Friends for coming to our Pre-K graduation and for all the support you have shown & given us through out the years. I will truly miss the kids when they move on. Don't be a stranger, please stop by and say HI every once in a while. =)

We have some exciting news...Ms. Shona will be expecting her first baby in December. We are all very happy & thrilled for her. She will continue to work here at Coastal teaching the Goldfish group and Ms. Mariana will take over the Seastars class.

Transition Day! Monday, June 29. All Classes and "Summer Camp" begins.

Soccer Shots
Starts on Tuesday, July 7 @ 9:30am for 8 weeks. The cost is $96.00. MONDAY MEMO!

Good Morning everyone!Summer is officially here! Warm weather should be on it's way! =)

To all the DADs...Happy Father's Day!!! Hope you had a fun weekend. Last Thursday's Daddy & Me trip at Fountain Bowl was a blast. Thank you dads! We're glad that you enjoyed yourselves.

This week is a graduation week. Seastars are preparing for their big day.

Graduation Day! Friday, June 26 at 6:30pm.
All family & friends are welcome.
Seastars need to be at the school no later than 6:15pm.
Reminder: School will CLOSE at 5:30pm to prepare for this event.

For our "year end" celebration we have planned a CRAZY / SILLY Week!

Monday - Crazy / silly hair day!
Tuesday - Beach day!
Wednesday - Spirit day! (wear your Coastal shirt / anything blue)
Thursday - Backwards day!
Friday - Pajama day!

Soccer Demo today @ 9:30am. Children ages 3-6 yrs. will have a chance to try it out. As an additional extra curricular activity for the summer, soccer will be on Tuesday mornings. Sign up will be posted if you want your child to participate. Fee is $96 per session(there are 8 classes per session) payable to Soccer shots. More information to follow.

Transition Day is on Monday, 6/29. All children will transition together into their new classrooms and to kick off our summer camp, Ms. Annie has planned a "4th of July" theme for the week. Please have your child bring in a PLAIN red, white or blue T-shirt by Wednesday, June 24 for a special project. Let's hear it for the stars & stripes.

Hi everyone!!! Today was a huge success. The kids had a blast bowling with their dads and just couldn't stop talking about it this afternoon. =)
This week we have been working on our special gifts for dad and talking about the color blue. the kids enjoyed mixing different colors of paint to try and create the color blue. We ended up with a nice teal green color that we used for our Fathers day gift. =p
So next week is our last week together we have a bunch of fun activities planned so pleas see the sign folder for info on what's going on. Please bring in a towel and bathing suits for water play which will be starting next Tuesdays as long as the weather keeps up =)

Good Morning everyone! "June Gloom" should be over soon...SUMMER officially starts on Sunday, June 21 on Father's Day! Speaking of Father's Day...our Daddy & Me field trip is right around the corner.

Father's Day Filed Trip
Thursday, June 18 9:30am - 11am. I need all permissions slips & money(cash only) by Tomorrow. We will leave propmptly at 9:30 am. Our scheduled time is at 10am. We will be back at school just in time for lunch.

For our "year end celebration", we have planned a CRAZY / SILLY WEEK!
From Monday, 6/22 - Friday 6/26

Monday - Crazy Hair Day! Come to school with the craziest / silliest hairstyle. The crazier the better.

Tuesday - Beach Day! Day at the beach...make sure that your child bring in their board shorts and swimsuits along with their towels and water shoes cause it will surely be a WET one.

Wednesday - Spirit Day! To show your school spirit, dress your child in their Coastal T-shirt or anything blue !

Thursady - Backwards Day! Have your child come to school wearing their clothes backwards just for kicks.

Friday - Pajama Day! Everyone's favorite...let your child roll out of bed and head on straight to school. I'm sure the kids wouldn't mind.

The end is almost here for our SEASTARS Class! Everyone is welcome to join us for our Pre-K graduation on Friday, June 26 @ 6:30pm here at Coastal. (Reminder: school will CLOSE at 5:30pm to prepare for this event)

Soccer demo has been reschedule for next week Monday, 6/22.

MONDAY MEMO!

Hello everyone! Hope that everyone had a relaxing weekend. Here are a few reminders:

CLASS VISIT
Tuesday & Wednesday, June 9 & 10. (sorry for the mix up on last weeks blog)
Just giving the kids a bit of a sneak peak on their new classes. It will take place in the morning only from 9:30am - 11:30am. (Children ONLY)

SEASTARS CLASS only
On Thursday, June 11, 9:30am - 10:30am. the seastars are going to Seth Reily's Vegetable garden for a mini-field trip. We still need at least a couple of Parent Volunteers to help us out. If we do not have enough parent volunteers, field trip will be cancelled.

DADDY & ME FIELD TRIP (Father's Day celebration)
Thursday, June 18 9:30am - 11am @ Fountain Bowl. Reugular lunch at the school. Permission slips & money is due on Monday, June 15. Please note: The entire school is going on this trip. If your child is not attending he/she may come to school after the fieldtrip. If it's not your child regular day, he/she may attend with a parent / guardian present. Also, if your child is NOT POTTY TRAINED, parent / guardian must be present.

SEASTARS (Pre-K) GRADUATION
Friday, June 25 @ 6:30pm. Family & Friends Welcome! School will CLOSE at 5:30pm to prepare for this event.

Hello Families I hope you has a nice weekend. This week the seastars will be learning about transportation and working on the last letter in phonics (z). I'm am so proud of the kids working so hard on their alphabets and their sounds. On Thursday we will be taking a mini walking field trip to Seth Riley's  garden. We will need at least 2 parent volunteers to join us on the walk otherwise we won't be able to go. Please talk to Miss Katrina and let her know if you can go. :) For Friday share day please have the kids bring in some form of transportation to share. Also I need each child to bring in a pillow case they can use for an art project by Friday the 19th. Thank you and I will see you in the morning.

Hi everyone I'm excited to be back =). This week we will be talking about transportation. Today i asked the children to tell me what they know about transportation and we discussed the different types of transportation we have. The were very excited to play with our mini colorful cars , bots, airplanes, and trains. They also did a fantastic job looking for different types of transportation in magazines and creating a collage.
Tomorrow we will be going on a transportation hunt and count to see how many different things we find =).
Share theme this week will have to do with anything transportation. Have your child bring in a favorite Airplane, car, train, boat, bus, and etc. =)

MONDAY MEMO!

Good Morning everyone! "June Gloom" weather is here but summer is right around the corner. Can't wait! Here is what's instore for you for the Month of June...

Graduation Picutres (SEASTARS ONLY)
Pictures will be in tomorrow Tuesday, June 2. Kathy (photographer)from Teddy Bear Portraits will be here from 3:30 - 6 pm. to hand out the photos and answer any questions you may have.

Mini Field Trip (SEASTARS ONLY)
The seastars class will be visiting Seth Reily's vegetable garden on Thursday, June 11 @ 9:30am. It will be a short field trip and within walking distance therefore we need a couple of Parent volunteers to join us.

Class visit
On WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY, June 9 & 10 will be visit days. All classes will be visiting their new classroom and new teacher before moving to their new class. The visit will be from 9:30 - 11:30am.

Soccer
There will be a soccer demonstration on Tuesday, June 16 @ 9:30 am. Soccer will be an additional activity for the summer.

Daddy & Me
We're going BOWLING at Fountain Bowl for our Father's day field trip on Thursday, June 18 @9:30am. Cost is $8.00 (Shoes included). Regular lunch on this day.

Seastars Graduation
Friday, June 26 @ 6:30pm. We will close at 5:30 on this day to prepare for this special event. Family & Friends are all WELCOME!!!!!

Transition
Monday, June 29 all children will be in their new class for the new school year!
